Synopsis

Set in the vibrant and authentic streets of Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the story follows 17-year-old Ali, a bold teen’s quest for identity amid her watchful single mother’s protective eye. Follow Ali as she rebels and discovers her musical talent through piano lessons with her sage mentor, Miss Liza Jane, and sparks a romance with street drummer Knuck. Tensions rise with personal conflicts involving her absentee father, Davis. Through successes and struggles, Ali learns to accept her expression, her heritage, and the neighborhood that defines her. This universal and heartfelt coming-of-age journey is filled with spirit, connection, and the power of music.
