Synopsis

Set in the colorful and raw streets of Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the story follows 17-year-old Ali, a bold teen’s path to finding herself amid her watchful single mother’s watchful eye. Follow Ali as she rebels and uncovers her musical gift through piano lessons with her insightful mentor, Miss Liza Jane, and ignites a romance with street drummer Knuck. Tensions rise with personal conflicts involving her absentee father, Davis. Through triumphs and struggles, Ali learns to cherish her voice, her origins, and the neighborhood that shapes her. Hell's Kitchen began creation in 2011, drawing from Alicia Keys' personal experiences.
